BUCCHIN, Francis William (Francesco Pocchia), a Representative from Northampton County; born in Saint Angelo, DeLombard, Italy, October 12, 1886; attended, Bethlehem public and parochial schools; owner and operator, barber shop; elected, school director, Bethlehem (1937-1940, 1943-1946); unsuccessful campaign, council, Bethlehem (1941); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of  Representatives for the 1947 term; reelected to serve 5 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Joint Legislative Historical Committee (1947-1948); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1958); died, October 10, 1960 in Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
