BRUGGER, Jeanne Griffith DeBow, a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., April 12, 1916; graduated, Asbury Park High School, 1932; B.A, psychology, Smith College, 1936; M.A., educational psychology, Smith College, 1939; attended, Harvard University and Bryn Mawr College; honorary doctorate, Medical College of Pennsylvania; psychologist; instructor, Smith College, Bryn Mawr College and Harcum Junior College; school director, Upper Merion Township (1961-1965); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1965 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1967 term; appointed, Governor’s Task Force on Field Experience Education (1973-1974); president, Medical College of Pennsylvania (1973-1974); associate dean, Drexel University; psychologist, the Timothy School (1983-1991); died, April 7, 1992 in Wayne, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Freedom, Waldo County, Maine.
