BOIES, Dr. David Magle, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, December 15, 1896 in Logansport, Cass County, In.; D.D.S., University of Pittsburgh; served, Medical Corps, United States Army, Camp Greenleaf, Georgia (World War I); dentist; member, Clairton Board of Education; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1937 term (Sworn-In on December 1, 1936); reelected to 13 more consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Commission to Study Aviation Facilities (1937-1938); appointed, Commission on Interstate Cooperation (1941-1942, 1957-1962); appointed, Joint State Government Commission (1941-1946: Sub-Committee on State-Local Highway Financing, 1945-1946); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on State-Local Highway Financing (1947-1948); appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Group Insurance (1947-1948); died while in office, May 3, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Homestead Cemetery, Homestead, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
