RUBLEY, Carole Ann, a Representative from Chester and Montgomery Counties; born, January 18, 1939 in Bethel, Fairfield County, Ct.; graduated, Bethel High School; B.A., biology, Albertus Magnus College; M.S., environmental health, West Chester State College (now West Chester University of Pennsylvania); high school biology teacher (1960-1962); real estate agent, Henderson & Dewey (1977-1981); solid waste coordinator, Chester County Health Department (1981-1988); environmental consultant, Environmental Resources Management, Inc. (1988-1992); supervisor, Tredyffrin Township (1987-1992); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1993 term; reelected to the House for 7 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, PennVEST (1993-2008); appointed, Select Committee on Public Education Funding (2001-2002); appointed, Select Committee on Influenza Vaccine (2006); appointed, Speaker's Commission on Legislative Reform (2007); not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 2009 term.
