AGNEW, Willard F., Jr., “Chick,” a Representative from Allegheny County; born, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa. on December 30, 1924; graduated, Aspinwall High School, 1942; graduated, The Pennsylvania State University, 1948; graduated, University of Pittsburgh Law School, 1951; elected, council, Borough of Aspinwall (1953-1958, president, 1958-1961); real estate broker; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1954; served 3 consecutive terms thereafter; elected, Minority Leader (1961); died while in office, March 14, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
