ADAM, Robert R., a Representative from Berks County; born in Perry Township, Berks County, Pa., August 8, 1892; graduated, Keystone State (University) Normal School; graduated, The Pennsylvania State University; farmer; clerk, controller’s office, Berks County; unsuccessful campaign, controller, Berks County; unsuccessful campaign, commissioner, Berks County; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1953 and 1955 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1957 term; died, May 26, 1961 in Hamburg, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Peters (Beckers) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Molltaown, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
