BROWNLEE, Michelle F., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, April 29, 1956 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; graduated, The High School Academy for Career Education, 1974; paralegal degree, The Berean Institute, 1995; attended, Temple University; legislative aide and chief of staff, Pennsylvania State Representative Frank L. Oliver, Sr. (1974-2009); leader, 29th Ward Democratic Committee; member, 29th Ward Democratic Executive Committee, 15th Division; chair, Philadelphia School District Head Start Policy Council (1997-1998); licensed missionary, Celestial World Ministries; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2011, 2013 and 2015 terms; appointed, Select Committee on School Safety (2013); resigned from the House, June 8, 2015.
