BROBST, Jacob, a Representative from Union County; born, 1752 in Berks County, Pennsylvania; served, 8th Regiment, Berks County, Continental Army (1778, Revolutionary War); farmer; elected as a Democratic-Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1815-1816 term; reelected to the House for the 1816-1817 term, never Sworn In; died, March 11,1825 in Union County, Pennsylvania.
