DIVEN, William, a Representative from York County; born, 1788 in Pennsylvania; farmer; tanner; elected, auditor, York County (1820); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1822-1823, 1823-1824 and 1824-1825 terms; died, September 21, 1871 in Plain Grove Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; interred, Center Church Cemetery, Pine Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
