WAUGH, William, a Representative from Washington County; born, August 8, 1796 in Cumberland County, Pa.; lawyer; appointed, deputy attorney general, Washington County (1824); unsuccessful campaign, auditor, Washington County (1824); appointed, auditor, Washington County (1825); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1828-1829, 1829-1830, 1830-1831, 1831-1832 and 1832-1833 terms; died, March 10, 1869 in Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Bedford Cemetery, Beford, Bedford County, Pennsylvania.
