MILLER, Daniel K., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, May 14, 1790 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; potter; elected, commissioner, Northern Liberties, Philadelphia County (1829, 1843); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1829-1830, 1830-1831 and 1831-1832 terms; commissioner, Schuylkill Water Works (1844); manager, Customs House, Philadelphia (1846-1847); died, March 6, 1868 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint John’s Evangelical Lutheran Churchyard, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; removed to Laurel Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
