REHRER, Thomas Jefferson, a Representative from Berks and Schuylkill Counties; born, November 8, 1797 in Berks County, Pa.; farmer; merchant; seated as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a result of a contested election, December 31, 1827; reelected to the House for the 1828-1829 and 1829-1830 terms; deputy clerk and chief clerk, State Land Office; died, February 28, 1872 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
