BUTTZ, Michael Robert, a Representative from Northampton, Pike and Wayne Counties; born, January 9, 1779 in Pennsylvania; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1827-1828, 1828-1829, 1829-1830, 1830-1831 and 1832-1833 terms; presidential elector (1832); elected, delegate, Democratic State Convention (1836); died, December 22, 1851 in Buttzville, Warren County, New Jersey; interred, Buttzville Methodist Episcopal Cemetery, Buttzville, Warren County, New Jersey.
