MILLER, Thomas R., a Representative from Erie County; born, April 2, 1782 in Franklin County, Pa.; private, Erie Light Infantry, Pennsylvania Militia (1812-1813, War of 1812); farmer; elected, commissioner, Erie County (1831-1834); elected, as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1836-1837 term; elected, director of the poor, Erie County (1840-1842); appointed, justice of the peace (1840); died, July 15, 1866 in East Springfield Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, Springfield Cemetery, East Springfield Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
