HALL, Josiah, a Representative from Venango and Warren Counties; born, March 16, 1784 in Dover, Windham County, Vt.; lawyer (1823-1832); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Warren (1829-1832); appointed, associate judge, Warren County (1832-1835); commissioner, The Lumberman’s Bank of Warren (1834); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1835-1836 term; manager, Sunbury and Erie Railroad Company (1837-1838); lumberman; engaged, oil business; died, April 1, 1877 in Warren, Warren County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oakland Cemetery, Pleasant Township, Warren County, Pennsylvania.
