Biography
COCHRAN, Robert, a Representative from Philadelphia City; served, 1st Division, Pennsylvania Militia; elected, common council, Philadelphia County (1803, 1808); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to common council (1805, 1806, 1807, 1808); elected as a Democratic-Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1809-1810 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1810, 1811).
