DORRANCE, Dr. Henry B., a Representative from Dauphin County; born, May 6, 1782 in Voluntown, Windham County (now New London County), Ct.; physician; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1826-1827 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1827); died, October 1, 1828 in Halifax, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Paxton Presbyterian Churchyard, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
