ALRICKS, Hamilton, a Representative from Dauphin County; born, June 1, 1806 in Oakland Mills, Mifflin County (now Juniata County), Pa.; attended, Harrisburg Academy; studied law under Hon. Samuel Douglas; attorney (1828-1892); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1836-1837 term; elected, delegate, Democratic National Convention (1864); elected, delegate, Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention (1872-1873); died, July 16, 1893 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Harrisburg Cemetery, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
