McMINN, Joshua, a Representative from Chester County; born, 1774 in Pennsylvania; farmer; elected, commissioner, Chester County (1824); elected as a Democrat / Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1829-1830 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1831); died, October 13, 1857 in Westtown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Middletown Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Elwyn, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
