HALL, John, a Representative from Centre, Clearfield and McKean Counties; born, 1758 in Delaware County, Pa.; served, Revolutionary War; blacksmith; elected as a Democratic-Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1801-1802 term; reelected to the House for 4 more consecutive terms; trustee, Bellefonte Academy (1805); reelected to the House as a Republican for the 1810-1811 and 1811-1812 terms; farmer; died, July 17, 1830 in Boggs Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania; interred, Unionville Cemetery, Unionville, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
