HUSTON, John, a Representative from Fayette County; born, January 2, 1793 in Kentucky; owner, Old Redstone iron furnace (1820-1872); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1835-1836 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1836-1837 term; farmer; appointed, associate justice, Fayette County (1846-1850); died, May 13, 1872 in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Grove Cemetery, Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
