WOLFERSBERGER, Philip, a Representative from Lebanon County; born, June 5, 1775 in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, Pa.; captain, Pennsylvania Militia (1792); merchant; grain dealer; unsuccessful campaign, commissioner, Dauphin County (1802, 1804); elected, commissioner, Lebanon County (1820-1822); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1826-1827, 1827-1828 and 1828-1829 terms; engaged, real estate; engaged, shipping; died, August 3, 1846 in Campbelltown, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery, Campbelltown, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
