KAUFFMAN, Andrew Isaac, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, August 24, 1802 in Manor Township, Lancaster County, Pa.; farmer; elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1836-1837 term; lumber and coal merchant; engaged, hardware business; died, December 14, 1861 in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
