SLAYMAKER, Jasper Yeates, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, November 30, 1787 in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, Pa.; graduated, Dickinson College; private, Pennsylvania Militia (1812, War of 1812): attorney (1812-1827); elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1816-1817 and 1817-1818 terms; died, August 3, 1827 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lancaster Cemetery, Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
