PARKE, Samuel, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, May 6, 1795 in Chester County, Pa.; studied law under James Buchanan; lawyer (1819-1859); elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1829-1830 and 1830-1831 terms; died, April 28, 1859 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sadsbury Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
