LANDIS, Samuel, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, November 27, 1785 in Lancaster County, Pa.; elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1829-1830 and 1830-1831 terms; died, February 18, 1860 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mohler Brethren Church Cemetery, Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
