BUYERS, John, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, November 17, 1774 in Lancaster County, Pa.; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1824); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1825-1826, 1826-1827 and 1827-1828 terms; died, June 17, 1830 in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Pequea Presbyterian Cemetery, Gap, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
