AGNEW, Dr. Robert, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, April 21, 1785 in Adams County, Pa.; attended, Dickinson College; studied medicine under Dr. James of Philadelphia; physician; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1826-1827 and 1827-1828 terms; died, October 10, 1858 in Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland; interred, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
