GISH (GISCH), Jacob B., a Representative from Lancaster County; born, December 2, 1767 in Lancaster County, Pa.; engaged in industrial pursuits; farmer; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1802, 1803, 1804, 1811); elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1805-1806, 1806-1807, 1807-1808, 1808-1809, 1809-1810 and 1824-1825 terms; died, 1846 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
