GROSH, Samuel S., a Representative from Lancaster County; born, November 28, 1795; farmer; elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representative for the 1823-1824; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1824); died, November 12, 1870 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Marietta Cemetery, Marietta, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
