HUSS, John, a Representatives in Lancaster County; born, November 6, 1790 in Chester County, Pa.; served, Pennsylvania Militia (War of 1812); printer; proprietor, The Marietta Pilot (1813-1819); editor, Lancaster Journal (1820-1839); elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1822-1823 and 1823-1824 terms; died, July 19, 1841 in Marietta, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, Marietta Cemetery, Marietta, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
