MORRISON, Samuel, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, 1786 in Lancaster County, Pa.; served, Pennsylvania Milita (War of 1812); farmer; elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1822-1823 and 1824-1825 terms; died, July 25, 1849 in Drumore Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; interred, New Chestnut Level Presbyterian Cemetery, Quarryville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
