REYNOLDS, John, a Representative from Lancaster County; born, March 30, 1787 in Lancaster County, Pa.; editor, Lancaster Journal (1820-1839); elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1822-1823 and 1823-1824 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1824); manager, Cornwall Iron Works (1839-1847); died, May 11, 1853 in Baltimore, Maryland; interred, Lancaster Cemetery, Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
