BROWN, Jeremiah, Jr., a Representative from Lancaster County; born, April 14, 1785 in Fulton Township, Lancaster County, Pa.; proprietor, grist and saw mill; elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1826-1827 term; elected, delegate, State Constitutional Convention (1837-1838); elected, United States Congress (1841-1845); first associate judge, Lancaster County (1851-1856); died, March 2, 1858 in Goshen, Fulton Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, interred, Penn Hill Friends Burial Ground, Fulton Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
