BEAVER, Henry, a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, July 20, 1787 in Huntingdon County, Pa.; chair maker; school teacher; surveyor; elected, commissioner, Huntingdon County (1826); elected, auditor, Woodberry Township (1829); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1829-1830 and 1831-1832 terms; unsuccessful reelection to the House for the 1830-1831 and 1832-1833 terms; justice of the peace; engaged, real estate; died, September 8, 1842 in Martinsburg, Bedford (now Blair) County, Pennsylvania.
