SNYDER, Simon, Jr., a Representative from Union County, born, November 9, 1763 in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pa.; elected, prothonotary, register and recorder of deeds, and clerk of oyer and terminer and quarter sessions, Union County (1813); appointed, deputy surveyor, Union County (1813); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1822-1823 and 1823-1824 term; died, May 10, 1838 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
