WEIRICK, George, a Representative from Union County; born, July 15, 1773 in Union County, Pa.; lieutenant colonel, First Brigade, 77th Regiment, Pennsylvania Militia (1809-1814, War of 1812); farmer; justice of the peace (1813); elected, commissioner, Union County (1824); delegate, State Anti-Mason Convention (1829); elected as an Anti-Mason to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1832-1833 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1833); died, September 25, 1838 in Centre Township, Union County, Pennsylvania; interred, Penns Creek Union Cemetery, Penns Creek, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.
