ELLIOTT, Thomas, a Representative from Bradford County; born, August 14, 1790 in New York; clothing, hardware and grocery merchant; elected as a Federalist to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election, February 7, 1826; Sworn-In, February 18, 1826 to serve the remaining 1826-1827 term; farmer; director, Susquehanna Mutual Insurance Co. (1859-1860); died, August 4, 1866 in Towanda, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverside Cemetery, Towanda, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
