LENNON, Michael J., a Representative from Lehigh County; born, May 30, 1860 in Laurys Station, Lehigh County, Pa.; telegraph operator, station agent and dispatcher, Lehigh Valley Railroad Company; elected, school board, Allentown; elected, common council, Allentown (1889-1893); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1892; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1894); reelected to the House in 1896; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1898); trustee, Keystone State Normal School (now Kutztown University of Pennsylvania); general agent, New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad Company; general agent, Boston and Maine Railroad Company; general agent, New York Central Railroad Company; died, February 5, 1919 in New York City, Manhattan Borough, New York County, New York; interred, Calvary Cemetery, North Catasauqua, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
