WELTY, H. Stanley, a Representative from Lehigh County; born, June 29, 1896 in Alburtis, Lehigh County, Pa.; attended, Blair Academy, Blairstown, NJ, 1913; graduated, Lafayette College, 1917; served, American Expeditionary Force, United States Army (1917-1919, World War I; Croix de Guerre recipient); attorney; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican to the 1925 term; reelected to serve 2 more consecutive terms; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the House for the 1931 term; died, November 23, 1938 in Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
