PICKERING, Henry Y., a Representative from Bucks County; born, January 9, 1854 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; attended, Friends’ School at Langhorne; farmer; engaged in farm implement and fertilizer business; clerk, Orphans’ Court, Bucks County; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1915 and 1917 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1919 term; appointed, Washington Crossing Park Commission (1927); died, March 26, 1930 in Yardley, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Newtown Friends Meeting Cemetery, Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
