LAUCKS, Samuel Simon, a Representative from York County; born, October 23, 1885 in Windsor Township, York County, Pa.; graduated, Ursinus College (1910), attended, Columbia University (1911); attended, University of Pennsylvania (1913-1914); teacher, Ursinus College (1912); teacher, Syracuse University (1912-1913); attorney (1916-1955); Assistant District Attorney, York County; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1917 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1919 term; died, July 12, 1955 in Red Lion, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Red Lion Cemetery, Red Lion, York County, Pennsylvania.
