BURNETT, Eugene A., a Representative from Cumberland County; born in Lititz, Lancaster County, Pa., February 26, 1856; attended, Lititz Academy; attended, Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville Univeristy of Pennsylvania); graduated, Cumberland Valley State Normal School (now Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania); teacher; cleric; school director (15 years); deputy postmaster, United States Postal Service; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1913 and 1917 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1915 and 1919 terms; died, February 2, 1920 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
