GORMAN, Eugene John, a Representative from Lehigh County; born, November 26, 1897 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pa.; graduated, Bethlehem Preparatory School, 1914; A.B., philosophy, Georgetown (University) College, 1918; graduated, law, Yale University, 1922; private, United States Army (1918, World War I); attorney; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican for the term 1933; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1935 term; solicitor; member, board of governors, Georgetown University; died, February 28, 1971 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
