PRICE, Harry Wesley, Jr., a Representative from Mifflin County; born, Lewistown, Mifflin County, Pa., on August 12, 1903; attended, Lewistown public schools; attended, Silver Bay College; attended, New York (University) College; attended, The Pennsylvania State (University) College; attended, Albright College; ship fitter, second class, United States Navy (1943-1945, World War II; Purple Heart recipient); safety and insurance supervisor, American Viscose Corporation; elected, council, Lewistown (6 years); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1946; reelected to serve 7 more consecutive terms; appointed, Joint Legislative Committee on Revision of Vehicle and Tractor Codes (1947-1948); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1962, 1964); died, May 25, 1970 in Danville, Montour County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania.
